There are always common trends and fads in popular workout routines. Tae-Bo gave way to local boot camps. Boot camps paved the way for many into other sports such as distance running and triathlon. The latest trend in home fitness is the subject of late night infomercials that are, frankly, addictive to watch. I'm sure many of you can agree that you've been riveted watching the 30 minute ads for P90x, Asylum, Insanity, and others. These programs boast improved cardiovascular health, increased strength, and a rocking beach body with washboard abs. All you have to do is stick with their program daily for 60-90 days to see the results. Here's the thing...from what I see and hear, they're not wrong.
