There’s a special tradition in my family: each of my three children has gone on a solo-trip with me to Disneyland. I have two boys and one little girl and, as you can guess, when it came time for her excursion, it was all about the princesses!
When I stumbled across this adorable craft idea on The Keeper of The Cheerios, it brought me back to the days when her tiny little feet ran to line up for a meet-and-greet with Cinderella. I hope you enjoy preserving your little princess’ feet with this great activity!
Disney Princess Footprints
Supplies
- Paint in Several Colors (depending on the princess you choose)
- Paper or Canvas
- Plate (for putting paint on)
- Markers if desired
Directions
- Choose which princess you’d like to create. For this example, we’ll work with Cinderella, but you could choose Tiana, Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine…whoever is the current favorite in your house!
- Fill a plate with blue paint and have your child place her foot in the paint. Make a footprint on the paper or canvas, making sure the heel points up and the toes point down. This will be your princess’ body.
- Using a marker or paintbrush, add in princess details—for our example. Cinderella’s skirt, her haid, hair and headband. Finish with facial features or leave blank (as pictured) for a sketch-like appeal.
