It’s Grandparents Day this Sunday and I can think of no better way to mark the occasion than with a gift that captures a print of the tiny little feet we all love to admire.
I found a great (and easy!) craft on Instructables.com that would fit the bill perfectly. Share a picture if you try it out!
Heart and Sole Gift
Materials Needed
Paper (I'm a fan of construction paper)
Tempera Paint (you could use Acrylic but Tempera is easier to clean up)
Paint brush
Scissors
Marker
Other Materials that can be used
large construction paper
Glue
Glitter
Crayons
Markers
Directions
- Cut a heart shape out of the construction paper.
- Paint your child’s foot and have him or her make a print in the center of the heart.
- Once the footprint has dried, write the words “I love you with my heart and sole” surrounding the print.
- Decorate as desired.
