What Happens In Vegas...Will Make Your Feet Scream!

Wear the right shoes in Las Vegas to Prevent foot painI had the great honor to be presenting at the Top Practices Summit in Las Vegas this weekend talking to podiatrists on how to enhance their practices. But all work and no play won't hack it...especially in Vegas. Great food and incredible shows (highly recommend Cirque du Soleil's Love) need to be explored. And exploration wears on your feet.

In Vegas the hotels themselves are an attraction themselves. In fact talking to my podiatrist colleagues, they were bemoaning the fact that THEIR feet were hurting from walking the strip. Others were nursing blisters. It's no surprise looking at the shoes that most women wear in Vegas. I'll admit, they look good...but they're not practical to walk long distances.

Speaking about high heels, I'm not naive enough to think that the women who read this will shift to flats and running shoes while visiting Las Vegas. But you know that there are the heels that you can wear out dancing all night and those that you can only wear from the car to the restaurant. When packing for Vegas make sure you bring the right ones!

If you bring the wrong shoes with you, you'll be sorry! Wear them out the first night and have a great time, but if you end up with painful blisters, you are going to not enjoy the rest of your nights as much. Don't let a poor shoe choice impact your vacation! No one wants to be forced into tennis shoes at night? The price of beauty doesn't have to be pain.

If you're planning a trip to Vegas, Europe, Disneyworld, or anywhere you'll be doing a lot of walking, and you just can't find shoes that will are comfortable, give us a call and schedule a visit. Let's find the reason why and let us help you make your next trip entirely pain-free.
