Last week, Foo Fighters; front man Dave Grohl fell while performing onstage in Sweden. He left the show temporarily, came back with a bandaged leg and was able to complete the evening’s show.
Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Later in the evening, the band tweeted out the X-Ray that proved Grohl had broken his foot; he had surgery this Monday and it’s unclear when he’ll be able to get back on the road. Because of this uncertain time frame, the Foo Fighters canceled all of their scheduled European tour dates.
At least Grohl isn’t alone in his stage-fall woes: just in the last few months, Britney Spears fell during a set in Las Vegas and ended up in a boot. Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine fell off the stage at Coachella and broke her foot (in a strange twist of fate, her band will now replace the Foo Fighters at the Glastonbury Music fest.
