World Diabetes Day Celebrated With 2000 FREE Diabetic Foot Testing Kits Available

November is Diabetes Awareness Month and many companies and organizations are working to raise awareness and do their part to save lives and limbs. The numbers of people effected by diabetes continues to grow, with an estimated 440 million to be affected in the next 20 years.

Along with those increased numbers is the increased complications associated with diabetes, such as diabetic foot ulcers. Because of decreased sensation, known as diabetic peripheral neuropathy, patients with diabetes are at greater risk of developing a foot ulcer that can progress to an amputation.
