Why Mandy Moore Puts the “High” in High Heels

Mandy Moore rubbed CBD Oil on her feet at the Golden Globes to numb the pain of high heelsAt 5”9, This is Us star Mandy Moore hardly needs to wear stilettos to boost her height yet, sometimes, she’s called upon to wear high heels to turn up the drama at a red carpet event.

Of course, being famous doesn’t make her immune to the pain associated with wearing high heels for an extended period of time. In a recent interview, she recalled last year’s Golden Globes and the shoe nightmare she encountered:

“Last year I thought I had gone for a pair of comfortable heels, but by the end of the night I was in so much pain I felt like I was walking on glass, so I kind of ended the evening early…"

Hoping to avoid a similar disaster this year, the star turned to her stylist, Erica Cloud, for a hack that might help her keep those heels on all night.

Apparently, Cloud did have a suggestion…one that could leave Moore with a case of the munchies. The stylist recommended applying CBD oil to Moore’s feet so they could become numb to the pain of pinched toes. CBD oil is made with cannabidiol, a compound found in cannabis.

In discussing her preparations—foot cream included—for this year’s Golden Globes, Moore said: “t could be a really exciting evening! I could be floating this year.'

Of course, numbing oils are just a temporary solution to the pain and damage that high-heels bring to your feet, but as a one-time fix it sounds like a pretty fun idea? What do you think, guys? Are you ready to get your feet baked in the name of shoe freedom?
