Are there any good exercises for heel pain? When heel pain is due to plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendinitis, exercise is very important to help resolve the inflammation. There are multiple exercises to help to stretch the effected structures which, in turn, helps to break up the inflammation and heal the injury.
Stretching the bottom of the foot is vital to manage heel and arch pain. There are ligaments and muscles that need to be mobilized to reduce the inflammation. Using the Thera-Band Foot Roller twice daily, that stretching is made simple and effective. Achilles tendon, leg, and foot stretches are also effective using Thera-Band resistance bands.
