I'd like to share a story with you...

Approximately twenty years ago, I was approached by a colleague of mine here in Houston who asked if I'd be interested in volunteering at a charity clinic Downtown. At the time, I was brand new in practice and I thought I couldn't afford to take a half-day out of my practice every month to be able to volunteer.

I'll never forget what he said to me. He said "Andy, we never lose money by giving charity."

I knew he was right and said I would do it. For the last 20 years, I spend the first Wednesday of every month volunteering at the San Jose Clinic downtown. The clinic is supported by the Archdiocese and is also dependent on donations. Everyone is struggling right now, of course.

If you are able to, feel free to visit their website to make a donation. The clinic supports people who are working but not insured to make sure they get the healthcare they need.

I'm proud of the time of the time I've spent volunteering at the San Jose Clinic and I hope you'll join me in supporting them.
