Happy Thanksgiving! I hope this time with your family is wonderful and meaningful, and you have a chance to truly reflect on all the blessings that you have in your life and how grateful that you should be for them.

Hi, I'm Houston podiatrist, Dr. Andrew Schneider. And although we're closed today and we're closed tomorrow because of Thanksgiving, I still wanted to send this message out to you.

During the heat of the COVID pandemic, I was involved with some personal development online courses. I took the opportunity, when I was out of the office, to try to better myself. And one of the speakers said to sit down and write yourself a note, write yourself a letter for five years from now, and what you want to write is what you're grateful for COVID.

Now, it's hard right now to be thankful for COVID, we're still in the middle of it, but for me, it was pretty easy because I was able to take the time where I would normally be spending all the time in the office, and even though I did a lot of work at home, I was able to spend time with my kids. I was able to spend time with my wife. My son, who was studying abroad in Israel, came home and was home for five months, which is just bonus time as far as I'm concerned. So I got wonderful time with my family, which I otherwise wouldn't have gotten.

I did some personal development courses, and I feel like I've made myself better. I've learned a lot. Also, I've learned a lot for my practice. I did a lot of improvements on our website and moving forward, brought in some new modalities that I think are really benefiting our patients. So although I'm not thankful for a pandemic, I am thankful for the opportunities that it has given me to make myself better, to be a better dad, to be a better doctor, and to make myself better so I can give more of myself to you.

Of course, if your foot's in pain, this is the hot season before Christmas, so give us a call for an immediate appointment. And you can feel free to visit our website at www.tanglewoodfootspecialists.com for more information. Thanks so much for watching. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
