Foot Craft Friday: Peanuts Project!

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION

Our office continues to be open to all new and existing patients. We use hospital-grade sanitizers and are taking measures to ensure patients maintain social distancing by not having anyone wait in our reception room with others. If you prefer to wait in your car, just give us a call and we will call or text you when we are ready to bring you straight into a treatment room. Our entire staff is wearing masks and we encourage you to do the same.

For those patients who cannot or still wish not to visit the office, we are offering private video telemedicine visits. Simply call the office at 713-785-7881 and ask for an e-visit and we will be happy to get you set up for an immediate appointment. You can also request an appointment through our website.

Charlie and Lucy star in their foot-inspired comic strip! If reading Peanuts has been the highlight of your weekend newspaper for as long as it has been mine, you’ll love this Charlie Brown and Lucy inspired foot craft from The Pinterested Parent. Good grief!

Supplies

  • Various colors paint
  • Marker/sharpie

Directions

For Charlie:

  1. Paint your child’s heel in pale peach. Paint their toes in brown & the rest of the foot in yellow with one black stripe running across the foot near the toes.
  2. Press it onto a piece of paper & let the paint dry.
  3. Dot on an ear with the peach color.
  4. Use a black Sharpie or marker to draw in the face & the zig zag of Charlie’s shirt.

For Lucy:

  1. Paint the heel in light peach again. Paint another strip of the pale peach across the portion of the foot right under the toes & then paint the rest in blue.
  2. Press onto a piece of paper & let the paint dry.
  3. Add a dab of peach for the ear.
  4. Use a black Sharpie or marker to draw in the face, hair & details of the dress to finish her off.
